22/06/2010 · First number 1 for MODULAR

Destiny knocks: last Saturday, while TPT were getting ready for their massive concert at Sónar Night, MODULAR started to climb positions on various different iTunes charts in the USA . It went to number 1 on the Latin Alternative Chart, where TPT are competing with Manu Chao, Maná, Eli Guerra and many other highly valued artists in the latin community. But they also have made it into the Latin Charts, where they have suddenly found themselves competing with Shakira, Luis Miguel, Bisbal and and other mainstream latin artists. In Mexico the album has also made it into the Top 40 of the general iTunes chart.

Overpassing the most optimistic predictions, this year's Sónar can only be described as a triumph for TPT. On Friday they made a surprise appearance at the Radio 3 stand at Sónar Día. The concert was announced by Spanish radio legend Tomás Fernandeo Flores, who described it as the 'Delicatessen' moment of Sónar 2010. And the greatest surprise of all was the massive audience that showed up at Sónarlab on Saturday, completely filling the place during TPT's show. We're delighted to announce the release of a new TPT album. It's called Modular and will be out on June the 8th in Europe and June the 28th in America. Soon we will be announcing tour dates.

The new Delafé y Las Flores Azules album, produced by TPT, was released on March the 23rd. On the first week it stayed number 1 on iTunes Spain, and on the second week it reached number 10 in physical sales. Congratulations guys! Don't miss their show, if you see them announced in your town.

The ukelele fever has arrived in Pinkerland, and it's Mr. Furia's fault. He has challenged all the pinker fans to send him cover proposals to pinkerlandfims@gmail.com. TPT will choose the most interesting ones and Mr. Furia will record them live with his ukelele infornt of a webcam. The result will e shown on the pinkerland films video padcast. We start the year with very good news. While the boys are recording their fourth studio album, the first Labuat album, produced by TPT, has gotten eight nominations for Premios de la Música 2010. Three of them are for The Pinker Tones: best  producer, best sound technician, best arranger.
